We manufacture Cortizo aluminium doors and windows for installers, glazing companies and dealers across the UK. You sell and fit; we draw, make and deliver, to your customer’s sizes.

Send us a PDF, a sketch or a set of sizes. We send back a full drawing set with your company logo in the title block, ready for your customer to sign, and we make exactly what is on the signed drawing.

THE TOP TEN TRADE PROBLEMS

The ten things installers say go wrong with a trade supplier, and what we do about each one.

1. THE DELIVERY DATE IS MISSED AND NOBODY TELLS YOU

Every order has a delivery date and a status on our workshop calendar, and you can see both on your own portal login. You get an email four days before delivery and another the day before.

2. THE DELIVERY TURNS UP INCOMPLETE

Frames, glass, cills, vents and hardware are all scheduled from the one signed drawing and listed on the delivery note. We hold a large stock of aluminium and accessories on site, so there is no reason for an order to leave incomplete.

3. WRONG SIZE OR WRONG SPEC

Nothing is cut until the drawing is signed. The cutting sheets and the glass order come from that same drawing. From quote to drawing to cutting sheet to the CNC saws and mills, no size is typed in by hand, so what arrives is what was signed.

4. DAMAGED ON DELIVERY

We make and pack in our own factory, so one company is responsible from the saw to your site.

5. NOBODY CALLS BACK

You should not need to phone and chase. Most questions are answered by the calendar on your portal, which you can leave open on your phone or PC. For quick queries there is a dedicated email address and a WhatsApp number.

6. YOU PAY FOR THE SUPPLIER’S MISTAKE

The signed drawing is the record, but we understand that people make mistakes. Wherever we can, a remake is treated as urgent, and small frame amendments are normally dealt with the same day.

7. NO HELP AFTER THE SALE

We are the manufacturer. We keep the drawings, cutting sheets and glass sizes for every job, so a replacement is made to the original, with aluminium and hardware from the stock we hold on site.

8. PAID IN FULL, THEN NO LEVERAGE

Half with the order and half before delivery or collection. You are welcome to inspect your order at the factory before you pay the balance and take it away.

9. THE PRODUCT CHANGES WITHOUT WARNING

Every system, glass make-up and hardware choice is written on your drawing. If anything has changed since your last order, you see it there before it is made.
